Women in Science Lunch Series: Aleksandra Boskovic

ICFO strongly supports actions that encourage and empower women in science and in keeping with this goal, offers the “Women in Science” series. These events aim to increase the visibility of female researchers at the institute, inspire them with the attendance of women role models, create a discussion forum on specific topics of interest, and create an informal space for networking.

For our next event, taking place Monday 17th September, at 12:30-14:30 in the Blue Lecture room, we welcome Dr. Aleksandra Boskovic, Research Director, Corning Incorporated.


Dr.Boskovic is a Technology Executive at Corning Incorporated. During her career, she has held a variety of roles spanning Research, Development and Engineering. She will be giving an overview of her career path and the choices she made that led her to her current role. She will also share her perspective on some of the challenges and advantages of a female perspective in male dominated environment, together with some learnings she collected along the way
