Description of Activities:

Given a quantum system, how can one ensure that it is entangled? random? secure? performs a computation correctly? The concept of quantum certification embraces all these questions in a broad range of scenarios, from many-body systems to protocols employing few devices.

Expected outcomes are:

  1. understand how quantum information resources, with an emphasis on entanglement and quantum non-locality, can be distributed over networks;
  2. explore the new possibilities highly connected networks offer for quantum information theory with respect to more standard point-to-point geometries;
  3. study how intrinsically quantum information effects, such as activation of quantum resources, take place in quantum networks;
  4. extend the study of complex networks to the quantum regime.
