Top Downloaded paper in Optica

ICFO’s Attoscience and Ultrafast Optics group has one of most downloaded paper in OSA compilation.

February 16, 2018
The Optical Society of America (OSA) is an important reference for the optics and photonics community, and publishes a number of topical journals, including Optica , an open-access, online-only journal dedicated to the rapid dissemination of high-impact peer-reviewed research across the entire spectrum of optics and photonics. Published monthly by OSA, Optica provides a forum for pioneering research to be swiftly accessed by the international community, whether that research is theoretical or experimental, fundamental or applied. In order to keep the optics and photonics community up-to-date on key research in this field, OSA has put together a collection of the most cited Optica articles published in the last two year (as per Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science).

In this compilation, a paper by ICFO researchers Daniel Sanchez, Michaël Hemmer, Matthias Baudisch, Seth. L. Cousin, and Olivier Chalus, led by ICREA Prof. at ICFO Jens Biegert entitled “7  μm, ultrafast, sub-millijoule-level mid-infrared optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier pumped at 2  μm” is one of the top 15 downloads.
