The aim of the course is to provide a general overview of optical imaging techniques used to study biological objects, with a particular emphasis on fluorescence, single molecule imaging and super-resolution microscopy.

**Note that this course is designed at the Master level, and for those ICFOnians with little or no background in fluorescence.
