Description of Activities:

An increasing amount of evidence is demonstrating that the organization of many biological structures, ranging from single cells, to tissues and even full organisms, can be well described in terms of fractal geometry. In addition, biologically-functional components more than often show transport dynamics that deviates from pure Brownian motion, i.e, perform an anomalous (hindered) and non-ergodic dynamics.
