Description of Activities:

Raman spectroscopy (RS) has recently exploited in the biomedical field because is non-invasive, rapid and sensitive. We expand the use of RS for biomedical applications thanks to our expertise in advanced statistical analysis that allows to extract otherwise inaccessible information. We have commercial and custom built RS systems able to image and monitor the molecular profiles of living cells, tissues and liquid samples. We combine RS with light-sheet, SERS and adaptive optics expanding its applicability in fields like: cancer, neurodegeneration, dermatology, zebra-fish, exosomes, food monitoring, archaeology and graphene.
