Description of Activities:
The group studies various aspects of physics of ultracold gases , which can be achieved with ultra-cold atoms with large magnetic moment, or hetero-nuclear molecules with large electric dipole moments. The main goal concerns the theory of dipolar gases in optical lattices. We look into phase diagrams of these systems, specially the effects of higher orbitals and interaction induced effects in the strongly correlated regime.
