Business Economist Recognition Award 2020
Congratulations to ICFO Manager M. Dolors Mateu
The Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya (Professional Association of Economists of Catalonia) has announced that the 2020 recipient of the Business Economist Award is ICFO Manager M. Dolors Mateu.
This prestigious award, given to only one person per year, is a reflection of the respect that Dolors has earned from the Economists of Catalonia, and also of the impact that she has had on ICFO through her skillful administrative, economic and financial management of the institute.
Having joined ICFO just months after the institute was constituted in 2002, Dolors has played a key role not only in the economic and financial sustainability of ICFO, but also in the organization of the whole administrative operation of the institute at large. In the words of ICFO Director Lluis Torner, “Without her key contribution, the Institute would not be what it is today.”

** Due to the current health situation, this year’s award ceremony will be held online on December 3rd at 19h, making it open to all who wish to participate. The language of the event will be Catalan.
