ENOC visits ICFO

ICFO hosts the visit of a Trade Mission of the European Network of Optical Clusters

The University of Barcelona has organized the 3rd Trade Mission of the European Network of Optical Clusters (ENOC) project, which belongs to the programme Research and Innovation. The main objective of these Trade Missions focuses on the development of relationships between the actors of Optics & Photonics from the different European countries.

Within this frame, the 3rd Trade Mission in Spain took place in Barcelona (Spain) on June 28th-29th and focused on two themes: Optical Design and Vision and Laser Technology and Applications. The programme included presentations of Spanish companies from Madrid and Barcelona and visits of selected companies and research centers near Barcelona.

ENOC visited ICFO during the 29th of June. The tour consisted in a presentation by ICFO director, Prof. Lluis Torner, followed by a lab tour, and a visit to ICFO’s spin-off Radiantis.
