New Board for ICONS
Osamu Takayama, Giorgio Volpe, Lars Neumann, and Sandro Perrone are the new officers of the ICFO Organization and Network of Students (ICONS).

ICONS (the ICFO Organization and Network of Students, formerly called ICFO-OSA Student Chapter) elected new officers last month. The new President is Osamu Takayama. Other newly-elected officers are Giorgio Volpe, Vice President, Lars Neumann, Secretary, and Sandro Perrone, Treasurer. After building up the Chapter for one year, Armand Niederberger has transferred the leadership as President, but will stay on with the Chapter to coordinate its international network, the IONS-Project.
The mission of ICONS is to enhance career opportunities for students by drawing them closer to the worldwide Photonics community, and promoting long term educational activities.
