14 December 2016 FET Graphene Flagship Meeting at ICFO

Graphene Flagship Meeting, 14-15 December, 2017 A large meeting on Electronics and Photonics Integration within the FET Graphene Flagship project will take place at ICFO on 14th and 15th December. It will include researchers working on the Electronic devices, Photonics and OptoElectronics, Flexible electronics and Wafer scale system integration Work Packages of the Graphene Flagship.

The purpose of this meeting will be forward-looking vs retrospective. It will define the future directions of the Division in the next phase of the Flagship (Core 2), focusing on the most promising applications from a socioeconomic impact viewpoint. Over 135 participants from 56 entities, involving both academic and industrial partners, will gather to discuss the future of graphene related technologies in the electronics field. The session dynamics will in general be open discussions in which attendees will have the chance to share with peers their learnings, achievements and future directions in the fields of data communications, 2D logic devices, plasmonic sensors, Terahertz technologies, flexible detectors and electronics.

ICREA Prof. at ICFO Frank Koppens, leader of the WP8 Photonics and OptoElectronics and deputy leader of Division 3, will host this meeting.
