Vapor-phase quantum sensors
We study quantum effects in atomic magnetometers and related sensors.
Atomic vapors can show extremely high coherence and high density relative to cold atoms, and can be incorporated into practical sensors. We are studying the quantum optics of these sensors for fundamental physics and applied sensing.
