Master in Photonics

The master aims at educating future researchers and talented technology specialists, and at promoting entrepreneurial activity amongst students. ICFO’s group leaders offer a variety of courses in this master in a number of advanced topics in Photonics, including Optical Techniques in Biology, Applied Nonlinear Optics, Optoelectronics, Laser Spectroscopy, Nanophotonics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information Technologies, and Ultrafast Optics, among others. The course offers a fundamental background as well as a glance at the very latest advances in the corresponding topics. ICFO offers opportunities to complete the compulsory master thesis, or to start a research project with an ICFO group.
