New leaders for IOSC
The ICFO-OSA Student Chapter elects a new board.

The ICFO-OSA Student Chapter (IOSC) held its general meeting last week to give its members and new students an overview over all of their different activities and projects. As always in autumn, new officers had to be elected to give everyone the possibility to actively participate and acquire new skills in organizing, managing groups and leading activities.
Armand Niederberger was elected new President by the chapter members. Further new officers are Vice President Osamu Takayama, Secretary Lars Neumann and Treasurer Goutam Samanta. After building up the chapter for three years, Giovanni Volpe resigned as President and stays in the chapter to coordinate its international network, the IONS-Project. The local outreach activities will be taken care of by former Secretary Manoj Mathew. Sandro Perrone will be the new webmaster.
