Celebrating this Catalan tradition with Adecco Foundation to foster professional opportunities for people with disabilities.

Today, ICFOnians collaborated with the Adecco Foundation to celebrate the San Jordi tradition with a book and a very special workshop. A group of people with disabilities from the Fundación Gaspar Portolá showed ICFOnians how to make their own roses and bookmarks.
This activity was part of the Adecco Foundation’s #EmpleoParaTodos initiative whose objective is to increase the employability of people with disabilities and other people at risk of social and labor exclusion. With their participation in this program, people with disabilities not only have the opportunity to develop professional skills and competences that they may use in their job search, they are also able to reinforce social competencies such as communication, responsibility, respect, etc.
The event was an enriching experience for ICFOnians who participated in the workshop, offering the chance to develop increased understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities, thus fostering more welcoming and sensitized working environments.
