ICFO, CETEMMSA and UPC sign an agreement to develop photonic devices using inkjet printing technology.

The technology center CETEMMSA, ICFO and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) have joined forces to develop flexible photonic devices based on active materials for the generation of photovoltaic energy and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), both through inkjet printing technology. The agreement has a 2-year duration and sets 6 phases for obtaining and characterizing photovoltaic devices and OLEDs.
The three institutions have complementary expertise both in the lighting and photovoltaic sectors. The collaboration among them will, therefore, allow combining strengths and maximizing mutual benefits.
