Facilities – NM3 Platform
The Nano-Photonics, Nano-Optoelectronic Materials and Bio-Nano-Materials Manufacturing and Characterization platform (NM3) is a grouping of shared services at ICFO.
The platform includes micro- and nano-fabrication (NFL) equipment located in dedicated clean room spaces (NFL-E and NFL-W), nano-characterization equipment (NCL), microscopy equipment and super-resolution optical imaging. (SLN), Chemistry (BCL), Biology (BBL), and Post-Processing (PPL) laboratories as well as advanced mechanical and electronic engineering services (AEL).
The platform as a whole services all internal research staff, also offering access to external collaborators from industry, research centers, hospitals and universities for any aspect related to their subject area. External access to available equipment and services is carried out through the mechanisms described in the dedicated section of each of the specialized facilities mentioned above and whose description can be found in the following tabs.
