Photonic Sensing Technology is currently being used and will be used in the future in a wide number of applications because its properties present technical advantages over traditional techniques or, sometimes, is practically the only feasible solution. In this talk, after key basic concepts of the technology significant samples of recent R&D&i results obtained by the Photonic Engineering Group will be addressed.
