Quantum Simulation with Engineered Dissipation: “Next Generation” Symposium
This 1.5 day symposium will feature talks from some of the top young and early stage researchers who work broadly in the field of quantum simulation with engineered dissipation and closely related topics.
The talks cover an exciting range of topics, including experimental implementations of atom arrays and cavity QED, experimental investigations of spin glasses and time crystals, and novel theoretical techniques for non-equilibrium many-body dissipative systems.
Invited Lecturers:
- Johannes Zeiher (MPQ)
- Iris Ulčakar (Institut Jozef Stefan)
- Farokh Mivehvar (Innsbruck)
- Charlie-Ray Mann (ICFO)
- Ronen Kroeze (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität)
- Phatthamon Kongkhambut (Hamburg)
- Rocío Sáez-Blázquez (TU Wien)
- Reza Mosala Nejad (Innsbruck)
- Oriana Diessel (Harvard)
- Hossein Hosseinabadi (JGU Mainz)
- Marvin Holten (TU Wien)
- Markus Schmitt (FZ Jülich)
- Angelo Valli (Budapest Univ. of Technology and Economics)
This symposium is organized by ICFO and Institut Jozef Stefan, as part of the European QuantERA project QuSiED, and is open to ICFOnians to attend.
