SEMINAR: Integrated Photonics for High-Sensitivity Spectroscopy and Sensing
Technische Universität Wien
Abstract:
In this seminar, I will present selected highlights from my research on integrated photonic platforms, spanning high-Q Si3N4 resonators, nanobeams, Fano devices, and metamaterials. The common thread of this work is developing compact, robust, and sensitive tools for chemical and biochemical analysis.
I will emphasize how resonant structures can be engineered and integrated with microfluidics toward high-sensitivity photothermal spectroscopy, with the broader goal of advancing integrated sensors beyond proof-of-concept demonstrations toward practical applications. I will also discuss perspectives for multifunctional, miniaturized photonic systems.
