Scientific collaborations, especially cross-disciplinary collaborations, are key drivers to scientific progress. In this event, which is part of our run-up to ICFO Day 2025, we will hear 10-minute presentations from ICFO researchers who will introduce their projects in a way that is accessible to the broader ICFO community. The goal of the session is to inspire and strengthen scientific collaborations at our institute.

All ICFOnians are encouraged to attend this session to learn about research being carried out by groups in all areas.

WORKSHOP:  Ideas that Connect- Crafting presentations that spark collaborations:  An interactive workshop will be offered by ICFO Postdoctoral researcher Denitza Denkova to prepare speakers for the Science Capsules session. This workshop equips scientists to create presentations that not only inform but invite others to connect and collaborate. Participants will learn how to clarify the purpose of their talk, craft a focused message, and present ideas with clarity and impact, enabling them to engage audiences and spark new scientific collaborations across disciplines.
