Final event of the Plan Complementario de Comunicaciones Cuánticas
The Closing Event of the Complementary Plan for Quantum Communications will take place on November 13, 2025 at the facilities of ICFO - Institute of Photonic Sciences.
On November 13, 14, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MICIU) and six autonomous communities will conclude the Complementary Plan for Quantum Communications, bringing together more than 160 representatives from the Government of Spain, as well as councilors and various representatives from the autonomous communities of Catalonia, Madrid, Castile and León, Valencia, Galicia, and the Basque Country, along with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The event will also feature the participation of researchers from all the institutes that will have worked on the program.
The ceremony will be presided over by the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities, Juan Cruz Cigudosa, accompanied by the Minister for Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia, Núria Montserrat. The event will serve to present the main results and achievements that have been obtained over the four years of the project’s development.
