Effective Networking for Early-Stage Researchers
In-person workshop on how to develop networking strategies in the context of scientific careers, and more specifically, to early-stage researchers. Networking is a critical skill for career advancement. This training will empower this group of scientists with the knowledge and tools to build and maintain a healthy professional network, leverage participation in scientific conferences, establish more collaborations, gain visibility while building influence & trust, staying updated and nurturing career advancement paths (academic or not academic). In-person and online networking will be covered, and also different approaches for different personalities such as introverts or extroverts. The session is designed to be dynamic and with capacity building nature, with individual and group exercises and subjected to an impact evaluation.

Target group: PhD students, Postdoctoral researchers, and Research Engineers. Priority given to late-stage PhD students and Postdocs.
