YOUNG PHOTONICS CONGRESS

Come to the next Young Photonics Congress and live the experience of a scientific congress where the spotlight is on young people like you!

If you’re a high school student (grade 9-12) and you are developing some project related to photonics or the topics we research at ICFO, you could explain your work to other students and to ICFO researchers. It is a fantastic occasion to share knowledge and experiences with other people who share the passion for science.

In addition, by participating with a project you are eligible to win the YPC Prize, a two-week stay in an ICFO research group in July!

PROGRAM

10:00 – 10:15Opening remarks and introduction to photonics and ICFO

10:15 – 11:20Flash talks by ICFO researchers about their research topics

11:20 – 11:30: Group photo

11:30 – 13:00Project presentation
As in a typical poster session of a scientific congress, all authors will be presenting at the same time, while the audience is free to browse through the different projects and to ask questions to the authors in small conversation groups.

13:00 – 13:15Closing remarks
