CQA Undergraduate Quantum Summer School
The Catalonia Quantum Academy is organizing the first edition of the Undergraduate Quantum Summer School, a five-day intensive program designed to offer undergraduate students a comprehensive introduction to the Catalan quantum ecosystem and its leading areas of research.
Hosted at ICFO and at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the school will bring together experts from universities, research centers and industry. Through this direct contact with the Catalan quantum ecosystem, participants will gain a transversal understanding of quantum science and technology while getting the opportunity to connect with key actors across the field.
The program integrates lectures, laboratory visits, hands-on sessions, collaborative challenges, panel discussions, a networking fair as well as curated group activities designed to foster links and connections among participants.
Topic covered include:
- Quantum Matter
- Quantum Optics and Photonics
- Quantum Information Theory
- Quantum Computing
- Quantum Sensing
- Quantum Communications
- Quantum Materials
- Quantum Technologies
Confirmed Speakers:
Adam Vallés, UAB,
Alba Cervera Lierta, Barcelona Supercomputing Center
