In the series of 11 lectures we will try to cover introduction to condensed matter physics and ultracold gases. The material will based on “Ultracold Atoms in Optical Lattices” by M. Lewenstein, A. Sanpera amd V. Ahufinger, “Bose Einstein Condensation” by L. Pitaevskii and S. Stringari, and J. Spalek’s “Wstep do fizyki materii skondensowanej” (to be released in English by Oxford University Press).
