The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) has awarded the ICFO Library the María de Guzmán 2023 grant to promote scientific research of excellence.
The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) has awarded the ICFO Library the María de Guzmán 2023 grant to promote scientific research of excellence. The project aims to improve technological capacity and the quality of curriculum information management systems (CRIS systems). The project will promote open science and the interoperability of institutional digital infrastructures.
Specifically, it will promote research data management planning through the development of Data Management Plans and their management in accordance with the FAIR principles by ICFO research groups. Digital infrastructures for the management of scientific publications and their interoperability with external infrastructures will be improved so that ICFO research results have a greater impact through greater openness and accessibility. The project will provide more reliable data on the institute's scientific output by interconnecting researchers, research groups, publications, datasets, and international, national, and regional research projects on digital platforms. Furthermore, the percentage of open scientific publications and research data will be further increased, thanks to deposits in open-access repositories.
