ICFO’s Nest Settles
Building work for ICFO research program Cellex Nest will soon start on land donated by the Catalan Government.

Cellex Nest will be hosted in a state-of-the-art facility of over 3500 m² right next to the current ICFO’s building. The research program will explore the role of photonics in other areas of science, such as biology, medicine, information technologies, renewable energy sources, nanotechnology and environment.
The NEST program is supported by a generous endowment from the Fundació Cellex Barcelona that offers outstanding opportunities to young researchers who aim at leading an independent research group.
