Laserlab Europe
The integrated initiative of European laser infrastructures prepares for its third phase.
December 08, 2010
LASERLAB-EUROPE is a network of laser laboratories with applications in all areas of sciences, life sciences and technologies. The project recently submitted to the EC a proposal for a third phase, expected to last from 2012 to 2015.
During this third phase, LASERLAB will comprise 28 of the largest European laser infrastructures on 19 European countries. The network will integrate these facilities with a long term perspective, stimulating new activities such as the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) and the High Power laser Energy Research facility (HiPER).
