ICFO Nanofabrication Seminar Series: PIX Europe in the NFL/ NCL

JOHANN OSMOND
ICFO NFL Scientific Officer and NCL Head

Abstract:

Nanofabrication is essential for nanoscience research, however, results focused scientific talks often fall short on discussing fabrication details, hindering effective knowledge transfer in this domain.

The ICFO Nanofabrication Seminars Series will provide a platform for sharing technical knowledge about nanofabrication processes and systems, uniting expertise from all research groups at ICFO that use these processes in their varied research areas. The focus is on the practical aspects of fabricating devices, rather than the underlying physical phenomena.

Join us to help create an interdisciplinary space dedicated to hands on nanofabrication knowledge. The tone for the talks will be collaborative and educational, creating a space where researchers of all levels can share techniques that they have had success with, and field basic to advanced questions from members of the community.

INAUGURAL SEMINAR:

Dr. Johann Osmond will introduce the list of tools that will be purchased and integrated in the Nanofabrication Lab (NFL) and Nano-Characterization Lab facility (NCL) as part of the PIXeurope project.
