Stemming from CONSOLIDER-INGENIO 2010 -a strategic line of the Spanish Government aiming at excellence in research- EXPLORA is a prestigious program that encourages researchers to explore non-standard offspring of their ongoing research.
The group led by ICFO Prof. Morgan Mitchell qualified with a project on manipulation of matter by light, with potential applications in laser machining and laser surgery.
The program will run for two years, starting January 2010.
